Formerly (since 1886) an agricultural estate with a pub “Beim Wirt”, the Burggasthof is now run by the 5th generation of the Hauptmann family.

Throughout the years, there have been constant innovations, extensions and renovations to create even more comfort and cosiness for you.

Metzgerei Hauptmann - full EU authorisation DE BY 20077 EG as a slaughterhouse and cutting centre for pigs and cattle from the government of Lower Bavaria.

New bathrooms in all rooms in the guesthouse. Installation of the starry sky castle grotto with HydroJet lounger in the guesthouse zur Burg

Monday to Friday:
from 5:00 pm (warm kitchen: 5:15 pm to 8:00 pm)

Saturday:
11:00 am to 2:00 pm and then again from 5:00 pm
(hot meals 11:15 am to 1:45 pm and 5:15 pm to 8:00 pm)

Sunday and public holidays:
from 11:00 am (hot meals 11:15 am to 1:45 pm and 5:15 pm to 8:00 pm)
