Fishing on the Schwarzer Regen in the Viechtach region

The “Schwarze Regen”, in the Regen – Viechtach area, is considered one of the most valuable bodies of water in the whole of Bavaria due to its wealth of species and good fish population. Part of the Schwarzer Regen stretch of water (from Rugenmühlbrücke downstream and Höllensteinsee to the dam wall – approx. 8 km) is open to guest anglers. Surf kite course at Lake Guggenberg

Learn to kite now! Anyone can learn to kite, you just have to be able to swim! The equipment for surf kiting, such as kite, harness, dirtboard, kiteboard and neoprene, is provided at the start of the course. Recommended clothing: Comfortable jeans and shoes. Boating and boat hire at Höllensteinsee

The Höllensteinsee is located between Viechtach and Bad Kötzting and dams up the Black Rain over a length of 5.6 km up to 12.5 m high.
You can enjoy the Höllensteinsee on a romantic boat trip or a rowing trip alone, as a couple or with family and friends. Rowing boats and fishing permits are available for fishing enthusiasts.
