Our restaurant with home-style cooking and products from our own butcher’s shop takes care of your physical well-being. Of course, the day starts with a rich breakfast buffet. In one of the most beautiful areas of the Bavarian Forest, in the Viechtacher Land, in Kollnburg, lies our 3-star Burggasthof. The central location is ideal for excursions, sporting activities and activities of all kinds.
The Bavarian Forest is particularly well-known and popular for motorbike tours. In our restaurant we spoil you with a special service and excellent cuisine.
In our salt shop we stock an extensive range of natural salt products.
Environmentally friendly solutions: Photovoltaic system and e-charging station
Our modern e-charging station offer fast, safe and environmentally friendly charging for your electric car.
Since December 2024, at the Burggasthof, we have been using an environmentally friendly photovoltaic system with solar batteries, which covers around 50% of our electricity consumption and significantly reduces our carbon footprint. This not only saves us energy, but also costs by reducing our reliance on external electricity providers.
Since April 2025, we have had another photovoltaic system with a solar battery in the guesthouse zur Burg.
With this system, we are 90% self-sufficient in the guest house. We can cover 90% of our electricity consumption in the guest house with
